Huawei has officially introduced the Huawei Qingyun HM940, its first commercial PC running on HarmonyOS, marking a major step in reducing reliance on Windows or Linux systems. This sleek and lightweight device combines premium hardware with Huawei’s self-developed operating system for a seamless user experience across devices.
Design and Display
The Qingyun HM940 is available in Clear Blue and Inkstone Black color variants. The notebook retains the signature minimalist Qingyun design, enhanced by a new HarmonyOS Smart Badge.
With dimensions of 310 x 222 x 13.5mm and a weight of just 970 grams, it’s both portable and stylish. The device features a 14.2-inch OLED anti-reflective screen with a 3120 x 2080 resolution, 264 PPI, and 1000 nits peak brightness. It supports a 60/120Hz refresh rate, 93% screen-to-body ratio, and P3 wide color gamut, delivering vivid visuals with a 178-degree viewing angle and 10-point multi-touch support.

The HM940 is powered by HarmonyOS, bringing cross-device collaboration and smart functionalities. Huawei’s Super Celia Business AI Assistant enhances productivity through:
